4. This product offers good workability.
Construction Reference:
Surface Treatment
Surface Treatment — Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from grease, rust, or other contaminants. If the steel surface has grease, paint residue, or welding burrs, mechanical treatment should be applied (where possible, sandblasting or shot blasting is preferred for rust removal), achieving a standard of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0). For surfaces already coated with primer, the topcoat must be applied within the recommended recoating window. Avoid applying the topcoat immediately after the primer or leaving it uncoated for more than seven days. If topcoat application exceeds seven days, the primer should be sanded before recoating. Dust Removal — Use a compressed air gun or a clean brush to remove loose dust.
Old paint film treatment—Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or use other methods as appropriate.
Grease treatment—First clean with solvent-based thinner or use solvent treatment equipment for overall degreasing. After treatment, dry with circulating hot air or wipe clean with a clean non-woven cloth.
Application Conditions
The suitable application temperature for this product is 10°C–40°C. Relative humidity must be below 70%. Avoid application during rain, snow, or fog. Contact with acids, alkalis, salts, or oily chemicals is prohibited. During application and drying in confined spaces, ensure adequate ventilation and maintain humidity below 70%. The substrate surface must be dry and clean, with the substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point, ideally maintained above 10°C.
Application Methods
Since this product is water-based and water has a very high latent heat of evaporation, it evaporates more slowly compared to solvent-based coatings. Therefore, air spraying is recommended for application to allow faster evaporation of the water content.
Construction Parameters
Mixing Ratio—Follow the proportion indicated on the packaging.
Diluent—Pure Water
Dilution Ratio—Generally 20%~25% of Component A used.
Gelation Time - Use within 2 hours after mixing, at a temperature of (23±2)°C. The gelation time will shorten as the ambient temperature rises and lengthen as the ambient temperature decreases.
Special Note: When adding Component B and water to Component A of this product, the following steps must be followed:
1. Add according to the ratio specified on the packaging;
2. Slowly add Component A to Component B under electric stirring. After addition is complete, increase the stirring speed and continue mixing for 3-5 minutes.
3. Water must be added after stirring the B component for 3~5 minutes, and it should be gradually and slowly added under continuous stirring. The recommended addition amount is generally 20~25%, and the water content must be strictly controlled. After adding water, continue stirring for another 3~5 minutes;
4. The mixed product needs to stand for curing for 5~10 minutes to ensure better workability and coating performance.
Curing Time — The curing time is 5~10 minutes.
Spray Gun Pressure — 0.4~0.6MPa
Tool Cleaning — Purified Water
