Product Introduction:

This product is a single-component modified alkyd resin coating with excellent gloss, flexible film-forming properties, simple application, and natural drying capability. It is suitable for use as a protective and decorative topcoat on surfaces such as industrial and mining enterprises, civil buildings, and industrial equipment.

Product Features:

1. The surface quality of this product depends on the application method; mixed application methods should be avoided whenever possible.

2. To achieve the specified film thickness, multiple coats must be applied, and attention should be paid to the interval between applications.

3. This product must be thinned with an alkyd-specific thinner. The use of other thinners may affect the surface condition of the film and drying time, among other factors.

Construction reference:

Surface Treatment — Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, flat, and firm, free from oil, rust, and other contaminants. If there are issues such as oil, old paint film, or welding burrs on the steel surface, mechanical equipment should be used for treatment (if conditions permit, sandblasting or shot blasting should be employed for rust removal on the steel surface), requiring a standard of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0). If a new primer has been applied, the topcoat should be applied within the specified interval.

Dust removal – Use compressed air gun to blow clean or sweep with a clean brush.

Old paint film treatment – Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or adopt other methods as needed.

Grease treatment – First clean with thinner or other methods, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions permit, wash with dilute acid first, rinse with clean water, then air-dry or oven-dry.

Construction Environment – The suitable temperature for applying this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 80%. Avoid application during rain, snow, or fog, and prevent contact with water. Ensure adequate ventilation in confined spaces during both application and drying periods. The surface to be painted must be dry and clean, with the substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.

Application Method – Air spraying or brushing is recommended. If special application methods (such as airless spray or roller coating) are required, please notify in advance so the company can adjust the formulation accordingly.

Dilution ratio—Generally 5-10% of the total paint volume.

Spray gun pressure—Approximately 4-6 kg/cm²

Tool cleaning—Alkyd thinner

To avoid skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, wash immediately with warm water, soapy water, or other appropriate cleaners. If it gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.

The construction site should be well-ventilated, and air masks must be worn during spraying to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour the paint into sewers or drainage pipes.

This product is flammable; keep away from open flames during storage and application, and smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.

Storage:

It can be stored for at least 12 months at 25℃, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded area away from fire and heat sources.
