Product Introduction:

This product is a two-component modified polyurethane topcoat, featuring excellent adhesion and good salt spray resistance. The paint film dries quickly both on the surface and throughout, meeting customers' needs for rapid construction and assembly. Additionally, this product offers superior workability, forming a thick film in a single application, thereby reducing the number of coating layers required during construction.

Product Features:

1. The surface finish of this product depends on the application method; it is advisable to avoid mixed application techniques.

2. Airless spraying can achieve a higher film thickness in a single coat. For air spraying, multiple cross coats are required to reach a higher thickness. If using brush or roller application, multiple coats must be applied to meet the specified film thickness.

3. This product must be thinned with environmentally friendly Type I polyurethane-specific thinner. Using other thinners, especially those containing alcohol-based solvents, will severely affect the curing process of the paint film.

Construction Reference:

Surface Treatment - Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from grease, rust, or other contaminants. If there are issues such as grease, old paint, or weld burrs on the steel surface, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (if conditions permit, sandblasting or shot blasting is preferred for rust removal on steel surfaces). The requirement is to achieve Sa 2.5 or higher (Sa 3.0).

Dust removal - use a compressed air gun to blow it clean or sweep it with a clean brush.

Old paint film treatment—Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or employ other methods as needed.

Grease treatment—First clean with thinner or use alternative methods, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions permit, wash with dilute acid followed by rinsing with clean water, then air-dry or oven-dry.

Application environment—The suitable temperature for applying this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 80%. Avoid application during rain, snow, or fog, and prevent contact with water. Adequate ventilation must be provided during application and drying in confined spaces. The application surface must be dry and clean, with substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.

Mixing ratio - Follow the ratio indicated on the packaging.

Application method - Air spraying or brush application. If using special application methods (such as airless spraying or roller coating), please specify in advance. The company will adjust the formula accordingly for special methods.

Thinning ratio - Generally 10-30% of the paint quantity used.

Gel time - 16h (5℃), 6h (15℃), 3h (25℃), 1h (40℃)

Curing time - Mix components A and B in the specified ratio and stir for about 10 minutes before construction. Allow to cure for 10-20 minutes before use.

Incident Response:

To avoid skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and a mask before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately wash it off with warm water, soapy water, or an appropriate cleaning agent. If it enters the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.

The construction site should be well-ventilated, and an air mask must be worn during spray painting to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour the paint into drains or sewage pipes.

This product contains flammable substances. Keep it away from open flames during storage and construction, and smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.

Storage:

Can be stored for at least 12 months at 25°C, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded place, away from fire and heat sources.
