Product Introduction:
The cured coating film exhibitsexcellentcolor and gloss retention when exposed to outdoor sunlight. It can be designed for various customer application environments, suitable for outdoor vehicles and engineering machinery such as construction vehicles, road sweepers, forklifts, logistics trucks, and buses, which demand high decorative appeal and stringent environmental protection standards.
Product Features:
1.The product features more uniform distribution and superior metallic appearance.
2.This product exhibits excellent application performance.
3.The product possesses high hardness and good adhesion.
4. The coating film exhibits excellent excellentyellowing resistance and chalking resistance outdoors.
Application Guidelines:
Surface Treatment - Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from grease, rust, and other contaminants. If there are issues such as oil, paint residue, or weld burrs on the steel surface, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (where conditions permit, sandblasting or shot blasting is recommended for rust removal), achieving a standard of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0). If the surface has already been coated with primer, the topcoat must be applied within the recoating window. Avoid applying the topcoat immediately after primer application or leaving it for more than 7 days before applying the topcoat. If the topcoat is to be applied after more than 7 days, the primer should be sanded before application.
Dust removal - Use compressed air guns to blow clean or sweep with a clean brush.
Old paint film treatment: Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or use other methods as appropriate.
Grease treatment: First clean with a thinner or treat by other means, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions allow, wash with dilute acid first, rinse with clean water, and then air-dry or oven-dry.
Construction Conditions
The suitable application temperature for this product is between 10°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 70%. Avoid application during rain, snow, or fog, and prevent contact with acids, alkalis, salts, or oily chemicals. Ensure adequate ventilation in confined spaces during application and drying, maintaining humidity below 70%. The substrate surface must be dry and clean, with the substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point, preferably maintained above 10°C.
Application Methods
Since this product is water-based and water has a very high latent heat of evaporation, it evaporates more slowly compared to solvent-based coatings. Therefore, air spraying is recommended for application to allow faster evaporation of the water.
Application Parameters
Mixing Ratio—Follow the labeled ratio on the packaging.
Thinner—Purified Water
The dilution ratio is typically 20–25% of the amount of Component A used.
Gelation time - Use within 2 hours after mixing, at a temperature of (23±2)°C. The gelation time will shorten as the ambient temperature rises and lengthen as the ambient temperature decreases.
Special Note: When adding Component A of this product to Component B and water, the following must be observed:
1. Add according to the ratio on the packaging;
2. Slowly add component A to component B under electric stirring. After complete addition, increase the stirring speed and continue stirring for 3~5 minutes;
3. Water must be added only after stirring component B for 3~5 minutes, and it should be gradually and slowly introduced under continuous stirring. The recommended addition amount is generally 20 ~ 25%, with strict control over the water quantity required. After adding water, continue stirring for another 3 ~ 5 minutes;
4. After preparation, the product needs to stand for curing for 5 ~ 10 minutes to ensure better workability and coating performance.
Curing time—The curing time is 5 ~ 10 minutes.
Spray gun pressure — 0.4~0.6MPa
Tool cleaning — Purified water
