Construction Reference:
Surface Preparation
Surface Treatment – Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from oil, rust, and other contaminants. If there are issues such as oil, old paint film, or weld burrs on the steel surface, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (if possible, sandblasting or shot blasting should be applied to the steel surface for rust removal), requiring a standard of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0). For surfaces already coated with primer, topcoat must be applied within the recoating interval. Avoid applying the topcoat immediately after the primer or leaving the primer for more than 7 days before applying the topcoat. If the topcoat is to be applied after more than 7 days, the primer should be sanded before the topcoat application.
Dust Removal: Use a compressed air gun to blow it clean or sweep it with a clean brush.
Old paint film treatment - Use a scraper to remove and then fill and sand smooth, or adopt other methods as needed.
Grease treatment - First clean with a diluent or handle by other means, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions permit, first wash with dilute acid, rinse with clean water, then air-dry or oven-dry.
Construction conditions
The suitable application temperature for this product is between 5°C and 40°C. The relative humidity must be below 85%, and application should be avoided during rain, snow, or fog. Contact with water is prohibited. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying in confined spaces. The application surface must be dry and clean, and the substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point before coating.
Construction Method
The recommended construction method is air spraying. If other coating methods are required (such as high-pressure airless spraying or roller coating), please specify in advance. The company will adjust accordingly to ensure the coating effect is guaranteed.
