Product Introduction:

This product is a two-component modified polyurethane primer with excellent adhesion and salt spray resistance. The film dries quickly both on the surface and thoroughly, meeting customers' needs for rapid construction and assembly. Additionally, it offers superior application properties, forming a thick coat in a single pass, thereby reducing the number of required coating layers.

Product Features:

1. The surface finish of this product depends on the application method; mixed application methods should be avoided as much as possible.

2. Airless spraying can achieve high film thickness in a single pass, while air spraying requires multiple cross-coating passes to reach the same thickness. If brush or roller application is used, multiple coating layers must be applied to meet the specified film thickness.

3. This product should be diluted with Environmentally Friendly Type I polyurethane-specific thinner. The use of other thinners, especially those containing alcohol-based solvents, will severely affect the curing process of the paint film.

Construction Reference:

Surface Treatment—Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from grease, rust, and other contaminants. If there are issues such as grease, old paint layers, or weld burrs on the steel surface, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (if conditions permit, sandblasting or shot blasting can be employed for rust removal). The surface should meet Sa 2.5 or higher standards (Sa 3.0).

Dust Removal—Loose dust can be removed using a compressed air gun or cleaned with a soft brush.

Old Paint Film Treatment—Remove old paint films with a scraper, then fill and sand the surface smooth, or employ other methods as appropriate.

Grease removal—first use a solvent to clean or treat with other methods, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions permit, wash with dilute acid first, rinse with clean water, then air-dry or oven-dry.

Construction Environment - The suitable application temperature for this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 80%. Avoid application during rain, snow, or fog, and prevent contact with water. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying in confined spaces. The application surface must be dry and clean, with substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.

Mixing ratio—Follow the ratio indicated on the packaging.

Application method—Air spraying or brushing. If special application methods (such as airless spraying or roller coating) are used, please specify in advance. The company will adjust the formula accordingly for special methods.

Dilution ratio — Generally 10-30% of the paint volume used

Gel time — 16h (5°C), 6h (15°C), 3h (25°C), 1h (40°C)

Curing time — Mix components A and B in the specified ratio for about 10 minutes before construction, then cure for 10-20 minutes before use.

Incident response:

To avoid skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately wash it off with warm water, soapy water, or an appropriate cleaner. If it enters the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.

The construction site should be well-ventilated. Wear an air mask during spray painting to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour the coating into drains or sewage pipes.

This product contains flammable substances. Keep it away from open flames during storage and application, and smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.

Storage:

Can be stored for at least 12 months at 25°C, after which it should be checked before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded place, away from fire and heat sources.
