Product Introduction:

This product is a colored primer made from alkyd resin, pigments, fillers, driers, and organic solvents. It features excellent mechanical properties, is easy to operate, and convenient to use. It is primarily used for coating steel surfaces as a general-purpose primer.

Product Features:

1. The surface finish of this product depends on the application method. Mixed application methods should be avoided as much as possible.

2. Multiple coats are required to achieve the specified film thickness, and the interval between applications should be noted;

3. This product must be applied with alkyd thinner.

Construction Reference:

Surface Treatment — Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free of oil, rust, and other contaminants. If there are issues such as oil stains, old paint films, or weld burrs on the steel surface, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (if conditions permit, sandblasting or shot blasting can be employed for rust removal), aiming to achieve Sa2.5 or higher standards (Sa3.0). If a new primer has been applied, the topcoat should be painted within the specified interval.

Dust Removal — Use a compressed air gun to blow off dust or clean with a dry brush.

Old Paint Film Treatment — Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or adopt other methods as needed.

Oil and Grease Treatment — First clean with a solvent or other methods, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions allow, wash with a dilute acid, rinse with water, and then air-dry or bake dry.

Construction Environment - The suitable temperature for applying this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 75%. Avoid application during rain, snow, or fog, and prevent contact with water. Ensure adequate ventilation in confined spaces during both application and drying periods. The surface to be treated must be dry and clean, with substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.

Application method: Air spraying or brushing. If special application methods (airless spraying or roller coating) are required, please specify in advance. The company will adjust the formula accordingly for special methods.

Dilution ratio: Generally 5-10% of the paint volume used.

Spraying pressure: 0.3~0.6MPa

Accident response:

To avoid skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, wash it off immediately with warm water, soapy water, or other appropriate cleaning agents. If it gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention promptly.

The construction site should be well-ventilated, and air masks must be worn during spraying to prevent inhalation of solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour paint into sewers or drainage pipes.

This product is flammable and should be kept away from open flames during storage and application. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. The product should be stored out of reach of children.

Storage:

It can be stored for at least 12 months at 25°C, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded area, away from fire and heat sources.
