Product Overview:

Phenolic varnish is formulated with specialized resins, drying agents, and organic solvents. It features excellent gloss, flexible film formation, easy application, and natural drying. It is suitable for use as a protective and decorative topcoat on surfaces in industrial and mining enterprises, civil buildings, industrial equipment, etc.

Product Features:

1. The surface finish of this product depends on the application method; mixed application methods should be avoided as much as possible.

2. To achieve the specified film thickness, multiple coats must be applied, and the interval between coats should be observed.

3. This product must be diluted with alkyd-specific thinners. Using other thinners may affect the surface condition, drying time, and other properties of the film.

Construction reference:

Surface Treatment — Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, flat, and firm, free from grease, rust, or other contaminants. If there are issues such as grease, old paint film, or weld burrs on the steel surface, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (if conditions permit, sandblasting or shot blasting can be employed for rust removal). The surface should meet the standard of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0). If a new primer has been applied, the topcoat should be applied within the specified interval.

Dust Removal — Use an air gun to blow away dust or sweep it clean with a soft brush.

Old Paint Film Treatment — Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or adopt other methods as appropriate.

Grease Treatment — First clean with a solvent or use other methods, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions allow, clean with dilute acid, rinse with water, and then air-dry or oven-dry.

Construction Environment - The suitable application temperature for this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 80%. Avoid application during rainy, snowy, or foggy weather, and prevent contact with water. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying in confined spaces. The construction surface must be dry and clean, with the substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.

Construction Method - Apply via air spraying or brushing. If using special application methods (such as airless spray or roller coating), please specify in advance so the company can adjust the formula accordingly.

Dilution ratio: Add appropriate amount of thinner according to different construction methods.

Spray gun pressure: Approximately 4-6 kg/cm²

Health and Safety:

To prevent skin and eye contact with paint, it is essential to wear appropriate work clothing, gloves, protective goggles, and masks before commencing work. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately wash it off with warm water, soapy water, or other suitable cleaning agents. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.

Ensure good ventilation at the construction site. When performing spray painting, wear an air mask to avoid inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Never pour paint into sewers or drainage pipes.

This product is flammable. Keep away from open flames during storage and application. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. The product should be placed out of reach of children.

Storage:

UnderAt least 12 months of storage at 25℃, after which inspection is required before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded area, away from fire and heat sources.
