Product Overview:

This product is a one-component modified alkyd resin paint with excellent gloss, flexible film, simple application, and natural drying properties. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor steel structure protection and decorative topcoats in industrial and mining enterprises, civil buildings, industrial equipment, etc.

Product Features:

1. The surface quality of this product depends on the application method. Mixed application methods should be avoided as much as possible.

2. To achieve the specified film thickness, multiple coats must be applied, and attention should be paid to the interval between applications.

3. This product must be thinned with alkyd-specific thinner. Using other thinners may affect the film's surface condition, drying time, etc.

Construction Reference:

Surface Treatment: Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from oil, rust, and other contaminants. If there are issues such as oil, old paint films, or welding burrs on the steel surface, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (if possible, sandblasting or shot blasting is recommended for steel surface rust removal), requiring a standard of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0). If a new primer has been applied, the topcoat should be applied within the specified recoating interval.

Handling of Floating Dust – Use a compressed air gun to blow clean or sweep with a clean brush.

Treatment of Old Paint Film – Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or use other methods as appropriate.

Treatment of Grease – First clean with a thinner or other methods, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions permit, wash with dilute acid first, rinse with clean water, and then air dry or bake dry.

Construction Environment—— The optimal application temperature for this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 80%, and application should be avoided during rain, snow, or fog to prevent water contact. Adequate ventilation must be ensured during application and drying in confined spaces. The construction surface must be dry and clean, with the substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.

Application Method—— Air spraying or brush application. If special application methods (such as airless spray or roller coating) are required, please notify in advance. The company will adjust the formulation accordingly for special methods.

Dilution ratio—Generally 5%-10% of the paint used;

Spray gun pressure—Approximately 4-6 kg/cm²

Health and Safety:

To prevent skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately wash with warm water, soapy water, or other appropriate cleaning agents. If paint gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention.

The construction site should be well-ventilated, and an air mask must be worn during spray painting to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour the paint into sewers or drainage pipes.

This product is flammable; keep away from open flames during storage and application, and smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.

Storage:

It can be stored for at least 12 months at 25°C, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded area, away from fire and heat sources.
