Product Introduction:
It is a water-based anti-corrosion coating made from modified water-based specialty resins, anti-rust pigments, additives, deionized water, etc. This product can air-dry or be baked at low temperatures.
Applications:
Suitable for automotive components such as axles, frames, drive shafts, gearboxes, etc., and can also be applied to similar workpieces.
Construction Process:
1. Substrate treatment
All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from grease, rust, and other contaminants. If steel surfaces have issues like grease, old paint, or weld burrs, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (preferably sandblasting or shot blasting for rust removal, if conditions permit), aiming to achieve Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0). For surfaces already coated with primer, ensure the primer is completely dry before applying the topcoat.
2. Thinner
Clean tap water or deionized water
3. Coating Environmental Requirements
During application, the minimum surface temperature of the steel plate should not be lower than 10°C, and the surface temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point. The relative humidity should be below 80%, otherwise, the drying and recoating intervals will be significantly extended. The likelihood of blistering in the paint film will increase. Adequate ventilation around the object being coated is also essential. For some hard-to-ventilate and confined areas, brush application should be used to avoid overspray.
4. Coating Methods
Air Spraying (Pressure Pot), Air-Assisted Spraying
5. Cleaning
Immediately rinse the equipment with tap water or ethanol after use. Clean the equipment regularly during the application process, with the frequency depending on the spraying volume, temperature, and time, including all interruption periods.
6. Drying Conditions
Temperature Touch Dry Hard Dry Minimum Recoat Interval Maximum Recoat Interval
10℃ 1.5 hours 36 hours 36 hours Unlimited
15℃ 1.2 hours 30 hours 30 hours Unlimited
25℃ 1.0 hours 24 hours 24 hours unlimited

Product Compatibility:
This product exhibits excellent compatibility with epoxy primers and phosphating films.
Safety Precautions:
This product is intended for application solely by professional applicators in industrial settings, strictly adhering to the guidelines provided in this manual, the Material Safety Data Sheet, and the recommendations on the packaging container. All tasks related to the application and use of this product must comply with relevant national safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations. When welding or flame cutting is performed on metal coated with this product, dust and fumes will be generated, necessitating the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and adequate local ventilation measures. If there are any doubts regarding the suitability of this product, please consult Baotashan Paint Co., Ltd. for advice.
Warning: Wear an air-supplied helmet during spraying.
Storage:
Store at 0°C to 35°C in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, sealed. Shelf life is 12 months; if the product still meets standard requirements upon testing after this period, it can still be used. Effective antifreeze measures should be taken if the temperature drops below 0°C. Avoid exposure to frost during storage and transportation.
