Product Introduction:

This product is a two-component modified polyurethane universal primer with excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance. The paint film is fine and easy to sand. It can be matched with PU6001 topcoat according to different customer requirements and applied to new or old equipment such as truck bodies, heavy machinery, road cleaning equipment, agricultural machinery, and papermaking machinery for corrosion protection.

Product Features:

1. The surface finish of this product depends on the application method; avoid mixed application methods as much as possible.

2.This product must be used with PU6001 dedicated thinner. Using other thinners, especially those containing alcohol-based solvents, will severely affect the curing process of the paint film.

Construction conditions:,

Surface Treatment — Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, flat, and firm, free from oil, rust, and other contaminants. If the steel surface has issues such as oil, old paint residue, or welding burrs, mechanical treatment is required (preferably sandblasting or shot blasting for rust removal if conditions permit), achieving a standard of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0).

Dust Removal—Use a compressed air gun to blow away or a clean brush to sweep off dust.

Old paint film treatment— Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or use other methods as appropriate.

Grease Treatment – First remove with thinner or treat by other methods, then wipe clean with a clean cloth. If conditions permit, wash with dilute acid first, rinse with clean water, and then air-dry or oven-dry.

Construction Environment – The optimal application temperature for this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 80%. Avoid application during rain, snow, or fog, and prevent contact with water. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying in confined spaces. The construction surface must be dry and clean, with the substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.

Mixing Ratio – Follow the proportion indicated on the packaging.

Application Method – Air spray or brush application. If special application methods (such as airless spray or roller coating) are required, please specify in advance. The company will adjust the formulation accordingly for special methods.

Dilution Ratio – Generally 10-30% of the paint volume used.

Gelation time——5℃ (16h), 15℃ (6h), 25℃ (3h), 40℃ (1h).

Curing Time——Mix components A and B in the specified ratio for about 10 minutes before construction, then allow to cure for 10-20 minutes before use.

Preventive Measures:

To avoid skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately wash it off with warm water, soapy water, or other appropriate cleaning agents. If paint gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water and seek medical treatment promptly.

The construction site should be well-ventilated, and an air mask must be worn during spraying to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Never pour coatings into sewers or drainage pipes.

This product is flammable. Keep away from open flames during storage and application, and smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.

Accident Response:

In case of skin contact: Rinse thoroughly with water.

If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Seek medical advice./Medical attention。

Storage:

UnderIt can be stored for at least 12 months at 25°C, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded area away from fire and heat sources.
