Product Introduction:

This product is a two-component modified polyurethane universal primer, featuring excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance, with easy sanding properties. It can be paired with PU1001 topcoat according to different customer requirements for corrosion protection in new construction or repair of steel structures such as prefabricated buildings, factory equipment pipelines, and corridor handrails.

Product Features:

1. The surface finish of this product depends on the application method; mixed application methods should be avoided as much as possible.

2.This product must be used with PU1001 special thinner. Using other thinners, especially those containing alcohol solvents, will severely affect the curing process of the paint film.

Construction conditions:

Surface Treatment – Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from grease, rust, and other contaminants. If the steel surface has issues such as grease, old paint layers, or weld spatter, mechanical methods should be used for treatment (preferably sandblasting or shot blasting for rust removal if conditions permit), requiring a surface preparation standard of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0).

Handling of floating dust—Use a compressed air gun to blow clean or sweep with a clean brush.

Treatment of old paint film—Remove with a scraper, then fill and sand smooth, or use other methods as appropriate.

Grease treatment—First clean with a thinner or use alternative methods, then wipe with a clean cloth. If conditions permit, wash with dilute acid first, rinse with clean water, and then air dry or bake dry.

Construction environment—The optimal application temperature for this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity must be below 80%, avoiding construction during rain, snow, or fog, and contact with water is prohibited. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying in confined spaces. The construction surface must be dry and clean, with substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.

Mixing Ratio——Refer to the ratio indicated on the packaging.

Application Method——Air spraying or brush application. If special application methods (such as airless spraying or roller coating) are used, please specify in advance. The company will adjust the formula accordingly for special methods.

Thinning Ratio——Generally 10-30% of the paint volume used.

Gel Time——5℃ (16h), 15℃ (6h), 25℃ (3h), 40℃ (1h).

Curing Time——Mix components A and B in the specified ratio for about 10 minutes before application. Allow 10-20 minutes for maturation before use.

Spray gun pressure — 4-6 kg

Tool cleaning — Environmentally friendly thinner No.1

Precautions:

To prevent skin and eye contact with paint, wear appropriate work clothes, gloves, protective goggles, and a mask before application. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately wash with warm water, soapy water, or other suitable cleaning agents. If paint enters the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.

The construction site should be well-ventilated, and an air mask must be worn during spraying to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour the paint into sewers or drainage pipes.

This product is flammable and should be kept away from open flames during storage and application. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. The product should be stored out of reach of children.

Emergency response:

If skin contact occurs: Rinse thoroughly with water.

If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Seek medical advice./Consult a doctor。

Storage:

Stable for at least 12 months at25°C, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded area, away from flames and heat sources.
