Product Introduction:
A two-component, acrylic polyurethane topcoat. It offers excellent durability and long-term recoatability. Used for protecting outdoor steel structures in general corrosive environments, suitable for surface protection of pipelines, supports, and railings in chemical and petrochemical plants.
Product Features:
1. Using conventional air spray methods, optimal gloss and appearance can be achieved.
2. When recoating after weathering or aging, it is essential to thoroughly treat the existing coating by removing surface contaminants such as grease, salt crystals, road dust, etc., before recoating.
3. When applied over aged coatings, interlayer adhesion may decrease but still meets the requirements for specified applications.
4. This product must be diluted with the recommended thinner. Using other thinners, especially those containing alcohols, may severely affect the curing mechanism of the coating.
5. The surface temperature must always be maintained at least 3 degrees Celsius above the dew point.
6. When used in enclosed spaces, ensure adequate ventilation is maintained.
7. During application or immediately after, moisture condensation can cause loss of gloss and degradation of the film quality.
8. Contact with pooled water before full curing may lead to discoloration, especially under dark-colored or low-temperature conditions.
9. Severe solvent splashing may occur during mixing or application. Contact our company for information regarding suitability.
Matching Products:
The following primer/intermediate coat systems are recommended: zinc-rich epoxy primer, iron oxide epoxy primer, micaceous iron oxide epoxy intermediate coat, and acrylic polyurethane paint suitable for self-recoating.
Construction Conditions:
Surface Treatment: The surface to be painted must be dry, clean, and free from contamination. For pre-primed surfaces, the acrylic polyurethane topcoat must be applied over the recommended rust-preventive primer. The primer surface should be dry and uncontaminated. Application must be carried out within the specified recoating interval. Areas with peeling or damage should be treated, and corrosion-resistant primer should be applied to these spots before applying the topcoat.
Construction: This product is packaged in two cans. When using, it must be mixed in pairs according to the specified ratio at one time and used up within the designated mixing period. Thoroughly stir the base material (A) with a power tool, then mix all the curing agent (B) with the base material (A) and stir thoroughly with a power tool. Add an appropriate amount of acrylic thinner and mix well.
Mixing Ratio: Mass ratio A:B = 10:1.5 (specific ratio as indicated on the packaging)

Work suspension: Do not leave paint in the paint tube, spray gun, or spraying equipment. Thoroughly flush the equipment with the dedicated thinner. If the work suspension period is long, it is recommended to use freshly mixed paint when resuming operations.
Cleaning: Use acrylic thinner to clean all equipment after use. During daily operations, all equipment should be cleaned regularly, with the frequency determined by factors such as the volume of spraying, temperature, spraying duration, and interruptions.
All remaining paints and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with laws and regulations.
Preventive measures:
To prevent skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, safety glasses, and a mask before construction. If paint splashes on the skin, wash it immediately with warm water, soapy water, or other appropriate cleaners. If it gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
The construction site should be well-ventilated, and an air respirator must be worn during spraying to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour the paint into sewers or drainage pipes.
This product is flammable. Keep away from open flames during storage and application, and smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.
Incident Response:
If skin contact occurs: Wash thoroughly with water.
If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Seek medical advice/Seek medical attention。
Storage:
Store ata temperature of at least 25℃ for up to 12 months, after which inspection is required before use. Keep in a dry, ventilated, shaded area away from fire and heat sources.
