Product Introduction:
Fluorocarbon topcoat is a two-component paint that requires the addition of the other component (hardener) in the specified ratio before use. It features excellent anti-aging properties, UV resistance, stain resistance, and outstanding chemical corrosion resistance. Designed for high-end hotels, resorts, villas, and antique-style building exteriors, it provides superior durability and weather resistance in a wide range of corrosive atmospheric environments, meeting the demanding requirements for topcoat performance.
Product Features:
Gloss and surface finish depend on the application method. Avoid mixing multiple application methods whenever possible. Using the conventional air spray method achieves the best gloss and appearance.
When applied over aged coatings, interlayer adhesion may decrease, but it still meets the requirements for the intended use.
This product must be diluted with the recommended thinner. Using other thinners, especially alcohol-based ones, can severely affect the curing mechanism of the coating.
The surface temperature must always remain at least 3°C above the dew point.
Ensure adequate ventilation when used in enclosed spaces.
Condensation during or immediately after the coating process will cause the surface to lose its gloss and deteriorate the film quality.
Contact with water before complete curing may lead to discoloration, especially under dark and low-temperature conditions.
Severe splashing of solvents may occur during mixing or construction. Please contact our company for information regarding applicability.
Technical specifications:
Color | Gloss | Mass Solid Content | Product Specific Gravity | Flash Point | Typical dry Film Thickness | Theoretical Coverage | Actual Coverage | Application Method |
Various Colors | Semi-gloss/matte | 50±2% (white or light color) | 1.05—1.15kg/l | Base material at 32℃ | Dry film 60-80μm, equivalent to wet film 120-160μm | Under the above mass solid content and dry film thickness of 50μm, 6㎡/㎏ | Appropriately account for paint wear and tear | Air spraying, brush painting |
Application reference:
Surface treatment – The surface to be coated must be dry, clean, and free from contamination.
Pre-coating primer surface: The fluorocarbon topcoat must be applied over the recommended rust-proof primer. The primer surface should be dry and free from contamination. Application must occur within the specified recoating interval. Areas with peeling or damage should be treated and recoated with anti-corrosion primer before applying the topcoat.
For aluminum-plastic panel effect coating, please contact the company for the fluorocarbon paint product manual.
Construction - This product comes in two cans. When using, it must be mixed in pairs according to the specified ratio at one time and used up within the designated mixing period. Thoroughly stir the base material (A) with a power tool, then mix the entire curing agent (B) with the base material (A) and stir thoroughly with a power tool. Add an appropriate amount of special thinner for fluorocarbon paint and mix well.
Mixing Ratio—Mass Ratio A:B=10:1.2 (Refer to packaging for specifics)

Thinner—Special fluorocarbon paint thinner
Work Suspension—Do not leave paint in the paint tube, spray gun, or spraying equipment. Thoroughly rinse the equipment with the special thinner. If the work suspension is prolonged, it is recommended to use freshly mixed paint when resuming work.
Cleaning—All equipment should be cleaned with acrylic thinner after use. During daily operations, clean all equipment regularly, with the frequency determined by factors such as the amount sprayed, temperature, spraying duration, and interruptions.
All remaining paint and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with laws/regulations.
Compatible products:
Fluorocarbon paint primer 1 x 50 microns (dry film thickness)
Fluorocarbon topcoat 1 x 40 microns (dry film thickness)
Other matching systems can be formulated based on specific conditions.
Emergency Response:
To avoid skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, wash immediately with warm water, soap, or other appropriate cleaning agents. If it enters the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Ensure good ventilation at the construction site. Wear a respirator when spraying to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Never pour paint into drains or sewage systems.
This product is flammable. Keep away from open flames during storage and application. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.
Storage:
Can be stored for at least 12 months at 25°C, after which it should be checked before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded area, away from fire and heat sources.
Note:
Please read the product manual carefully. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact our company.
