BTS-H309 Self-Leveling Epoxy Floor Topcoat

Product Introduction
This product is a high-solids epoxy floor topcoat with excellent leveling properties. It is environmentally friendly and provides a full-bodied film.

Suitable for floor applications in electrical, food, pharmaceutical, manufacturing workshops, garages, and similar venues.

Physical Properties

Surface Preparation

1. Substrate moisture content must be below 8%. The substrate must be fully treated, kept clean and dry before application; remove dust, oil, acid, alkali, and water. The underlying coating must be dry and dense before applying the topcoat.

2. Dust removal: Use compressed air to blow clean, or sweep with a clean broom.

Application Conditions
Optimal application temperature is 10℃ to 30℃. Relative humidity must be below 80%. Avoid application in rain, snow, or fog. Contact with water is prohibited. Provide adequate ventilation during application and curing in confined spaces. The substrate surface must be dry and clean, with temperature at least 3℃ above the dew point.

Application Methods
Air spraying or roller coating. If special methods are required, please notify in advance so the company can adjust the formulation accordingly.

Application Parameters

1. Mixing ratio: Follow the ratio indicated on the packaging. Use a power stirrer to thoroughly mix the base material.

2. Thinner: Epoxy floor thinner.

3. Thinning ratio: Generally 3–5% of the base paint volume.

4. Pot life: Use within 30 minutes after mixing (at 23±2℃). Generally, the pot life halves for every 10℃ increase in temperature, and doubles for every 10℃ decrease.

5. Induction time: After mixing components A and B at the specified ratio, stir with a power mixer for about 3 minutes before application.

6. Spray pressure: 0.4–0.6 MPa (air spraying).

7. Tool cleaning: Epoxy floor thinner.

8. Recoat interval: Minimum recoat interval: 20 h; Maximum recoat interval: 168 h (under standard conditions).
