Surface Preparation
All surfaces to be coated shall be clean, dry, sound, free of grease and other contaminants. Surfaces treated with concrete hardeners must be sanded. Concrete surfaces should have a certain degree of cleanliness and be free of cracks, honeycombs, pitting, unevenness, or loose stones; otherwise, use mortar to level. Cracks or uneven areas should be first cut into a "V" shape, then apply a sealing primer, and after the primer dries, scrape the surface smooth with mortar. If old paint films exist, all loosely attached old coatings must be removed.
Application Conditions
Optimal application temperature is 10℃ to 30℃; application below 5℃ is prohibited. Relative humidity must be below 80%. Avoid application in rain or snow. Contact with water is prohibited. Provide adequate ventilation during application and curing in confined spaces. The substrate surface must be dry and clean, concrete moisture content less than 6%, and substrate temperature at least 3℃ above the dew point.
Application Methods
Trowel coating. If special methods are required, please notify in advance so the company can adjust the product accordingly.
Application Parameters
Mixing ratio: Follow the ratio indicated on the packaging. Mix only as much as needed, and use an electric stirrer to mix thoroughly for 3–5 minutes until uniform. Use within the pot life to avoid gelation waste.
Thinner: None required.
Thinning ratio: No thinner needed.
Pot life: 45 minutes after mixing (at 23℃), shortened as temperature rises.
Induction time: After mixing components A and B at the specified ratio, allow to stand for 5 minutes before application.
Spray pressure: Not applicable (for trowel coating).
Tool cleaning: Various epoxy thinners.
Recoat interval: Drying time is affected by ventilation, temperature, film thickness, number of coats, etc. Typical data below are based on good ventilation (outdoor or natural air flow):
Minimum recoat interval: 24 h
Maximum recoat interval: 7 days (under standard conditions).
