Product Introduction:
baotashan Paint Chlorinated Rubber Anticorrosive Coating is a single-component, room-temperature self-drying paint formulated by mixing chlorinated rubber resin, pigments, plasticizers, and solvents followed by grinding.
It is mainly used for coating equipment and pipelines in industries such as chemical, power, steel, and coal, as well as for anticorrosion of bridges and containers. The product features low water vapor and oxygen permeability, excellent water resistance and corrosion resistance, along with good weather resistance.
Product Features:
1. This product may decompose and age when exposed to high humidity and elevated temperatures, so the temperature should not exceed 80°C under dry conditions. As a thermoplastic product, prolonged mechanical stress at temperatures above 40°C may cause film indentation. The mechanical strength of the film will recover once the temperature decreases.
2. Repeated maintenance work may result in an overly thick overall paint film, causing blistering due to "entrapped" solvents. Since each coating layer can trap solvents, it is generally recommended not to apply chlorinated rubber paint too thickly in a single coat or to have excessively short recoating intervals.
3. This product must be diluted with a specialized thinner. Using other thinners will severely affect the drying properties and surface finish of the paint film.
Supporting Products:
Chlorinated rubber anticorrosive paint primer or epoxy primer 2*40 microns or 1*50 microns (dry film thickness)
Chlorinated rubber anti-corrosion intermediate coat 2*40 microns (dry film thickness)
Chlorinated rubber anti-corrosion topcoat 2*40 microns (dry film thickness)
Construction Reference:
Surface Treatment – New Steel: Thoroughly remove grease with appropriate cleaning agents, and eliminate salt and other contaminants with fresh water. Sandblast to Sa2.5 grade. Before assembly, any damaged shop primers and contamination during storage and transportation must be removed and repaired using this product. Repair: Thoroughly remove grease and other contaminants with appropriate cleaning agents, and eliminate salt and other residues with fresh water. Sandblasting is suitable for removing rust and other loose materials. Power tools can be used for small-area cleaning.
Dust Removal – Use a compressed air gun to blow away dust or sweep clean with a soft brush.
Construction Environment – At or below freezing point, ensure surfaces are free of ice to prevent affecting paint adhesion. Proceed under normal favorable conditions; in confined spaces, ensure proper ventilation. During hot summers, avoid application under intense sunlight. Construction is not advisable during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, or strong winds with sand.
Construction Method – Air spraying or high-pressure airless spraying
Dilution Ratio – Generally 3-15% of the paint volume used
Spray Gun Pressure – Pressure 0.3~0.6MPa
Tools Cleaning — Special Thinner
Painting Data:

35 (closed) | Good | Good | Well | ≥60% | (Closed) 35+2℃ | (1.45+0.1) g/ml | Under the conditions of the aforementioned solid content by mass and a dry film thickness of 40μm, 5.5 + 1㎡/㎏ | Dry film 30-50μm, equivalent to wet film 60-90μm | Air Spraying, airless spraying |
Accident Response:
To prevent skin and eye contact with paint, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately wash with warm water, soapy water, or other appropriate cleaning agents. If paint enters the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical treatment promptly.
The construction site should be well-ventilated, and an air mask must be worn during spraying to prevent inhalation of solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour paint into sewers or drainage pipes.
This product is flammable; keep away from open flames during storage and application, and smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. The product should be stored out of reach of children.
Storage:
Can be stored for at least 12 months at 25°C, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded place, away from fire and heat sources.
Remarks:
Please carefully read the relevant product instructions. If you still have any questions, please contact our company promptly.
