Product Introduction:
Acrylic topcoat, single-component packaging, easy to use. Excellent UV resistance, strong weather resistance, and effective mildew-proof performance. Suitable for outdoor steel structure protection, including surfaces such as tower cranes, railings, metal castings, and construction vehicles.
Product Features:
Gloss and surface smoothness depend on the application method. Avoid mixing multiple application methods as much as possible. Using conventional air spraying can achieve the best gloss and appearance.
When repainting after weathering or aging, it is essential to thoroughly treat the existing coating, removing surface contaminants such as grease, salt crystals, road dust, etc., before repainting.
The adhesion between coatings applied over aged layers may decrease, but it still meets the requirements for the intended use.
This product must be diluted with the recommended thinner. If other thinners are used, they must have good solubility.
The surface temperature must always remain at least 3 degrees Celsius above the dew point.
Ensure adequate ventilation when used in enclosed spaces.
Moisture condensation during or immediately after the coating process can cause the surface to lose gloss and degrade the film quality.
Contact with standing water before full curing may lead to discoloration, especially in dark colors and under low-temperature conditions.
During mixing or construction, solvent splashing may occur. Please contact the company for information on suitability.
Supporting products:
The following primer systems are recommended: acrylic primer, epoxy primer, and alkyd quick-drying enamel suitable for self-recoating.
Application guidelines:
Surface Treatment – The surface to be coated must be dry, clean, and free from contamination. Plastered surfaces, due to their excessive alkalinity, require thorough drying before application, with wall moisture content below 8% and pH less than 10. If necessary, apply an alkali-resistant sealer or clear varnish. Areas prone to efflorescence, peeling, or damage should be treated, and these spots must receive a sealer coat before the topcoat application.
Application – Use a power tool to thoroughly mix the base material, then add acrylic thinner and stir until fully blended.
Mixed service life—unlimited
Diluent—Acrylic thinner
Work interruption—Do not leave paint in the paint tube, spray gun, or spraying equipment. Thoroughly flush the equipment with the specified thinner. For prolonged interruptions, it is recommended to use freshly mixed paint when resuming work.
Cleaning – All equipment should be cleaned with acrylic thinner after use. The frequency of cleaning depends on factors such as the amount of spraying, temperature, spraying time, and any interruptions during the process.
Coating data:
Color | Gloss | Mass Solids Content | Product Specific Gravity | Flash Point | Typical dry Film thickness | Theoretical coverage rate | Actual coverage rate | Application method |
Various colors | Semi-gloss/High-gloss | 40±2% (varies by color) | 1.05—1.12kg/l | Base material 32℃ | Dry film 40-45μm, equivalent to wet film 90-110μm | Under the above mass solid content and dry film thickness of 40μm conditions, 8㎡/㎏ | Take into account the paint loss appropriately. | Air spraying, brushing |
Incident Response:
To avoid skin and eye contact with paint, wear work clothes, gloves, protective goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately wash it off with warm water, soapy water, or other appropriate cleaning agents. If paint gets into the eyes, rinse them thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
The construction site should be well-ventilated. Wear an air mask during spray painting to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Never pour paint into sewers or drainage pipes.
This product is flammable. Keep away from open flames during storage and application. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.
Storage:
Can be stored for at least 12 months at 25°C, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded area, away from fire and heat sources.
