Product Introduction:
Acrylic topcoat, single-component packaging, easy to use. Excellent UV resistance, strong weather resistance, and superior anti-mildew effect. The paint film has self-cleaning properties. Used for architectural exterior wall decoration and protection, suitable for surfaces such as concrete, masonry, and wood. Especially suitable for use on the exterior walls of antique-style buildings. Ideal for tunnel interior wall coating, easy to clean. This product must not be used on exterior walls of polystyrene board insulation systems. If intended for such use, prior evaluation is required.
Product Features:
Gloss and surface smoothness depend on the application method. Avoid mixing different coating methods as much as possible. Using conventional air spraying can achieve good gloss and appearance.
When recoating after weathering or aging, thoroughly treat the existing coating, removing surface contaminants such as grease, salt crystals, road dust, etc., before recoating.
Adhesion between coatings on aged surfaces may decrease but can still meet the requirements for specified uses.
This product must be diluted with the recommended thinner. If other thinners are used, they must have good solubility.
The surface temperature must always remain at least 3 degrees Celsius above the dew point.
When used in enclosed spaces, ensure good ventilation is maintained.
Condensation of moisture during or immediately after the coating process can cause the surface to lose its gloss and deteriorate the film quality.
Contact with water before full curing can lead to discoloration, especially with dark colors and under low-temperature conditions.
During mixing or construction, solvents may splash. Please contact the company for information on suitability.
Matching products:
The following primer systems are recommended: acrylic varnish sealer, acrylic sealer, and acrylic exterior wall paint suitable for recoating.
Application Guidelines:
Surface Preparation – The surface to be painted must be dry, clean, and free from contaminants. Plastered surfaces, due to their high alkalinity, require complete drying before application, with wall moisture content below 8% and pH less than 10. Apply an alkali-resistant primer or sealing varnish if necessary. Areas prone to efflorescence, peeling, or damage should be treated, and these spots must receive a primer touch-up before applying the topcoat.
Construction - Thoroughly mix the base material using power tools, then add acrylic thinner and stir until fully blended.
Pot Life - Unlimited
Thinner - Acrylic Thinner
Work suspension - Do not leave paint in the paint tube spray gun or spraying equipment. Thoroughly rinse the equipment with dedicated thinner. If the suspension period is prolonged, it is recommended to use freshly mixed paint when resuming work.
Cleaning - All equipment should be cleaned with acrylic thinner after use. The frequency of cleaning depends on factors such as the amount of spraying, temperature, spraying duration, including interruption times, etc.
Coating data:
Color | Gloss | Mass Solids Content | Product Specific Gravity | Flash Point | Typical dry Film thickness | Theoretical spreading rate | Actual spreading rate | Application method |
Various colors | semi-gloss/matte | 50±2% (varies by color) | 1.15—1.25kg/l | Base material at 32℃ | Dry film 50-55μm, equivalent to wet film 100-130μm | Under the above mass solid content and dry film thickness of 50μm, 8㎡/㎏ | Properly account for coating loss | Air spraying, airless spraying, brushing, rolling |
Accident Response:
To avoid skin and eye contact with paint, wear work clothes, gloves, protective goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes on the skin, wash it off immediately with warm water, soapy water, or other appropriate cleaning agents. If paint gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
The construction site should be well-ventilated. Wear an air mask during spraying to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour coatings into sewers or drainage pipes.
This product is flammable. Keep it away from open flames during storage and construction. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Store the product out of reach of children.
Storage:
It can be stored for at least 12 months at 25℃, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded place, away from fire and heat sources.
