Product Overview:
Epoxy interior topcoat for containers is a two-component coating formulated by mixing epoxy resin, anti-corrosive pigments, wear-resistant fillers, additives, organic solvents, and curing agents. This product features excellent adhesion, superior corrosion resistance, and outstanding wear resistance, making it suitable for coating the interior surfaces of containers.
Construction Reference:
Surface Preparation – Before painting, the substrate surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and firm, free from oil, rust, and other contaminants. If there are issues such as oil stains, old paint residues, or weld burrs on the steel surface, mechanical treatment is recommended (preferably sandblasting or shot blasting for rust removal if conditions permit), requiring a surface cleanliness of Sa2.5 or higher (Sa3.0).
Dust Removal – Use an air gun to blow away or a clean brush to sweep off loose dust.
Old Paint Film Treatment – Remove old paint films with a scraper, fill and level the surface, or adopt other appropriate methods as needed.
Treatment of grease – First remove or treat with a thinner, then wipe clean with a clean cloth. If conditions permit, wash with dilute acid first, rinse with clean water, and then air-dry or oven-dry.
Construction Environment: The optimal temperature for applying this product is between 5°C and 40°C. Relative humidity should be below 80%. Avoid application during rain, snow, or fog, and prevent contact with water. Ensure adequate ventilation in confined spaces during both application and drying periods. The surface must be dry and clean, with the substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point.
Mixing Ratio: Follow the proportion indicated on the packaging.
Application Method: Air spraying or airless spraying.
Dilution ratio—generally 10-30% of the paint volume used
Gelation time - 23°C, 6 hours (shortens as temperature increases).
Curing time - Mix components A and B thoroughly according to the ratio, then let cure for 30 minutes before use.
Spray gun pressure - 4-6 kg
Tool cleaning - Use matching thinner

Recommended supporting products:
Epoxy interior paint for containers 40Microns(Dry film thickness)
Optional primer coatings: such as epoxy paint.
Additional supporting measures can be formulated based on specific circumstances.
Health and Safety:
To prevent skin and eye contact with paint, wear appropriate work clothes, gloves, protective goggles, and masks before construction. If paint splashes onto the skin, immediately rinse with warm water, soapy water, or other suitable cleaning agents. If paint enters the eyes, flush thoroughly with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention promptly.
The construction site should be well-ventilated, and air masks must be worn during spraying to prevent inhaling solvent vapors and paint mist. Do not pour paint into sewers or drainage pipes.
This product is flammable and should be kept away from open flames during storage and application. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the construction site. The product should be stored out of reach of children.
Storage:
AtCan be stored for at least 12 months at 25℃, after which it should be inspected before use. Store in a dry, ventilated, shaded place, away from fire and heat sources.
Note:
The above materials and data are based on laboratory tests and experimental experience, and there may be variations due to specific circumstances (such as construction techniques, testing methods, or coating improvements).
