This series of products is a thermosetting powder coating made from epoxy resin, combined with correspondingcuring agents, pigments, fillers, and other specialized additives.
Suitable for equipment workshop facilities, electrical cabinets, household appliances, fitness equipment, valves, pipefitings; also used as top coating for electronic iron powder cores and surface finishing for automotive parts and othermetal surfaces.
experimental project | technical indicators | remark |
specific gravity | 1.4~1.8g/cm³ | Different in formula and color |
Fineness determination | Different in variety and purpose
180 mesh sieve residue | <0.5% (flat powder)
160 mesh sieve residue | <0.5% (art fans) |
category | gloss | surface effect |
Highlight class | ≥90% | Smooth and even, with sand patterns, wrinkles, orange peel patterns, floating patterns, cotton patterns, hammer patterns, metal flashes, metal composites, heat transfer powder. Antibacterial coatings, reversible safety temperature indicating coatings can also be produced. Other special requirements can be produced according to user samples |
Flat light category | 60~85%
Semi luminous class | 25~45%
No light class | 3~10% |
Note: Gloss is measured according to the GB1734-79 standard using a 60° gloss meter.
project | Reference standards | indicator |
impact test | CB/T 1732-93 | 50kg/cm³ |
adhesion | CB 1720-79 | Level 0~1 |
Bend Test | CB/T 1732-93 | ¢1~2mm |
pencil hardness | CB 6739-86 | H~2H |
Note: Produced according to customer requirements, all tests were conducted referencing the CB1727-92 standard plate-making process, with a coating thickness of 60-80μm, completed under laboratory conditions.
project | Reference standards | indicator |
salt spray test | GB1771 | 500n no change, cross-sectional corrosion less than 2mm |
Damp Heat Test | GB1740 | 500n has no effect, slightly loses light |
Note: All experiments were conducted using oil-removed, rust-removed, and zinc-phosphated prepared samples with a film thickness of 100-120um, performed under laboratory conditions.
project | workpiece temperature | curing time |
low-temperature curing | 130°C | 10~30min |
Medium temperature curing | 180°C | 15~25min |
rapid curing | 200°C | 5~15min |
Note: The recommended curing conditions all refer to the workpiece temperature. Deviations above or below thespecified temperature range may affect the performance of the coating or prevent it from being fully utlized.
1. Applicable Equipment -- Friction electrification spraying, corona electrostatic spraying, electrostatic fluidized bed2. Film Thickness -- Adjustable between 60~ 150um as per workpiece specifications3. Coverage - 8~ 11n2/kg at 60um film thickness, depending on type and workpiece requirements4. Calculation Formula -- Specific Gravity * Coating Thickness = Grams/Square Meter
1. This product can be stored for 12 months under dry conditions below 30°C.2. After use, the paint must be immediately resealed to prevent the powder from absorbing moisture and affectingthe paint's performance.
3. Packaging: 20kg carton lined with plastic bag, minimum packaging 3kg.
1. This product is non-toxic and non-flammable, but please comply with the GB15607-1995 Safety Regulations forPaint Coating Operations during use
1. Outdoor use is not recommended;
2. Epoxy powder coatings have poor weather resistance and may exhibit discoloration, fading, and chalking;
3. To enhance the thermal stability and yellowing resistance of the coating film, please choose polyester/epoxy or
outdoor-specific coatings produced by our company.
