Product Introduction
Baotashan BTS-SU Acrylic Road Marking Paint is composed of modified acrylic resin, weather-resistant pigments, wear-resistant fillers, additives, and high-quality solvents.
Product Uses
Suitable for traffic markings on cement and asphalt pavements. It can also be used for marking on un-waxed or un-polished concrete hardener surfaces. However, for different hardeners, a small-area adhesion test must be carried out before large-scale application.
Product Features
Tough film, strong adhesion, excellent abrasion resistance, good water resistance, alkali resistance, and weatherability. Easy to apply, and can be applied by various methods.
Physical Properties
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Color | Various colors |
Gloss | Matt (dull) |
Surface drying time | 20 min (at 23℃) |
Hard drying time | 4 h (at 23℃) |
Flash point | 28℃ (closed cup) |
Standard packaging | 20 kg/barrel or 25 kg/barrel |
Surface Preparation
Before application, the ground must be swept clean to remove dust and debris, so as not to affect the adhesion between the film and the road surface.
Application Conditions
The moisture content of the road surface must be below 8%. The surface must be fully treated and kept clean and dry before application. Remove dust, oil, and acid/alkali/water contamination. Sweep the ground thoroughly to remove dust and debris. For surfaces that have been waxed or treated with polished concrete hardener, local roughening is required before marking.
Application Methods
Spraying (nozzle diameter: 0.4–0.6 mm, pressure: 0.6–0.8 MPa), roller coating, or brush coating.
Application Parameters
Thinner – Company's special thinner for road marking paint.
Thinning ratio – 10–15%.
Spray gun pressure – 0.6–0.8 MPa.
Tool cleaning – Use matching thinner.
Coating interval – Drying time is affected by ventilation, temperature, film thickness, number of coats, etc. The typical data below are based on good ventilation (outdoor or natural air flow):
Minimum recoat interval: 20 min
Maximum recoat interval: none (no limit)
