Product Introduction:
It is a two-component water-based coating composed of water-based epoxy resin emulsion, anti-rust pigments and fillers, additives, deionized water, and water-based amine curing agent.
Usage:
It can serve as a high-performance anticorrosive primer for non-submerged steel structures where strict solvent emission requirements are imposed.
It can be applied on steel surfaces in various corrosive environments, such as petrochemical plants, power stations, bridges, and other anti-corrosion coating applications.
Being a double emulsion system, it dries quickly with short recoating intervals, suitable for coating new substrates and also ideal for maintenance under other conditions.Engineering Cases

Construction technology:
1, Substrate Treatment
All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry, and free from contamination. Prior to painting, all surfaces must be prepared in accordance with
ISO 8504:1992Evaluation and processing shall be conducted according to standards.
If the surface to be coated has grease, it should be cleaned with solvent until it meets theSSPC-SP1standard.
The application of water-based coatings must strictly adhere to all cleanliness standards.
Sandblasting (shot blasting) treatment
The steel surface is sandblasted toSa2.5(ISO 8501-1:1988) orSSPC-SP6standard.
If oxidation occurs on the steel surface after sandblasting and before applying the water-based epoxy primer, the surface must be re-sandblasted to meet the specified visual standards before proceeding with construction.

3, two-component formulation
This product comes in two separate cans. Each time, the components must be mixed according to the specified ratio and used within the designated mixing period. The end of the mixing period is not indicated by an increase in viscosity. Although25under °C conditions,6after hours the mixture may still appear usable, the protective properties of the paint will have significantly degraded by this point and should no longer be used.
11. Use a power mixer to thoroughly stir base material (A) until uniform;2. Mix the curing agent and base material according to the specified ratio, then use the power mixer again to achieve complete and even blending.
2. Mix the curing agent and base material according to the specified ratio, then thoroughly blend using a power mixer.

4、Painting environmental requirements
Apply by air spray or airless spray method. Before use, thoroughly rinse the equipment with tap water, followed by pure water.
For maximum edge protection and film thickness, air spraying or airless spraying is recommended.
During storage, water-based epoxy primer must always maintain a certain temperature to prevent freezing. It is recommended to storeat 25°C.℃。
The minimum temperature of steel during coating must exceed5℃, and be at least above the dew point3℃。
The relative humidity during coating should be below70%, otherwise the drying and recoating time will be significantly prolonged; the relative humidityshould be above 30%, otherwise the film-forming performance of the paint will be poor. The temperature during coating must be maintained between5℃and 35℃to achieve the optimal paint film condition. At a temperature of 30℃When there is good air circulation around,
circulation to achieve a higher relative humidity.
Good air circulation must be maintained around the coated object after painting.
Small confined spaces that are difficult to ventilate should be brush-applied to prevent excessive coating thickness.
The environmental temperature during application is lower than the minimum film-forming temperature of the coating or poor ventilation, which can result in poor film formation.Or it may crack into a powdery state, necessitating the removal of the old paint film and repainting.
The viscosity of water-based epoxy primer gradually increases over time after mixing. If the specified pot life is exceeded, the performance of the cured film will be affected and unable to reach the specified standard.
Applying water-based epoxy primer too thickly will extend the minimum recoating interval and drying time, and may adversely affect the recoating interval of subsequent layers. When using water-based epoxy primer, its viscosity gradually increases over time after mixing. If the specified pot life is exceeded, the performance of the cured film will be compromised and fail to meet the required standards.
For applications requiring durability, high gloss, color retention, and good decorative properties, the recommended topcoat should be applied.
Water-based epoxy primer will experience chalking and fading when exposed to the atmosphere, but it does not affect its anti-corrosion performance.

6Cleaning
It is recommended to rinse all equipment with purified water after construction.
It is recommended to clean the equipment periodically during construction based on factors such as spraying volume, temperature, and time.
Dispose of remaining paint and packaging materials according to local regulations.
